Skiyota running for office

The SMT (skiyota management team) with its unlimited funds was going to take out a 1/2 hour prime time special to inform you of our trip. However, we were outstaged by Ross Perot.  We’ve all been Bushwacked, Gored, Clintinized, Quayled & Perotted to just about our limit.  HOWEVER, if elected, the SMT, will make the following campaign Promises (note, we will do no name calling, or beat around the bush, we will discuss only the facts, we will not waste time on economy, budget deficit, free trade agreements, etc)

If  reelected the SMT  will in the 1st year of our term provide the following.

1.  Ski in, Ski out luxury condos, with hot tub & sauna

2.  6″ of fresh champagne powder each morning, with sunshine during the day.  For those from North Carolina, there will be one run of hard packed ice.

3.  Heated gondola cars on our own private express lift.

4.  Surf & Turf catered each evening with the Kansas Wine.  (for those from Minnesota, a keg of the finest New Ulms best beer)

5. Sauna & Sunlamps will be provided so the Californians don’t lose their tan

6.  At least 1 orgasm per person per day (for those over 21)

7.  Fresh Salamon fishing  just out the back door

8.  Free Chartered air service via the Air Skiyota Airline (ASA) “THE PROUD  BIRD WITH THE CAST IRON TAIL”

9.  A spoons tournament with no loser or bruisers.

10.  All this without Revenue enhancement, Deficit increase, loss of employment, or increase in taxes.   (yes, read our lips)

11.  All this for a low, low price of  $2/person/hour.

PS.  If you believe any of this, you probably would have voted for us.

Update on lift tickets

Yo Skiyotas,

This evening, Frank with Sitzmark (the wholesaler, that we are going thru) called and said I had sent too much money  for lift tickets.

To make a long story short, they had forgot to tell us that,  since we booked the trip early,  Vail/Beaver Creek  was only charging us $275 for a 5 day lift ticket.

To shorten it even more,  everyone who ordered a 5 day lift ticket will get $58 back,

Those who ordered a 4 day ticket will get $29 back and get a 5 day lift ticket

Those who bought a 3 day ticket can  PAY $28 and get a 5 day lift ticket.   Please let me know ASAP on this!!!

Now to help you out even more,  the SMT has decided to spend all the extra money on booze & strippers!!!!!

Only kidding on the strippers!!

Whether you want me to send you a check,  or give you cash out there,  please let me know either way!!

4. Other Activities

Beaver Creek was conceived by a development group from nearby Vail, with the intention of creating a truly special resort destination. Billed as the “local’s mountain” in the region, Beaver Creek Mountain features a long ski season (November to April) and an average annual snowfall of over 300 inches, making its 1800 acres of skiable terrain and 140-plus trails an attractive — even seductive — destination all season long.

The natural beauty of Beaver Creek and the nearby villages of Arrowhead and Bachelor Gulch provide many leisure options no matter the season or weather. Diversions abound in this rugged corner of Vail Valley: book a “seat” on a hot air balloon and soar high over the Rockies, take a horseback trip through White River National Forest, or even catch a Broadway-caliber show at the Vilar Center for the Arts.

A resort community wouldn’t be complete without award-wining spas — many of the area’s leading hotels offer deluxe spa packages. In addition, there’s great shopping, dining and nightlife in Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch, and Arrowhead Villages, as well as the nearby towns of Edwards and Avon.
